Colosseum Hears Workers’ Voices via PhotoVoice

From January to March 2018, The Centre (formerly CCR CSR) implemented the PhotoVoice project for another one of Colosseum’s suppliers, Hongyu Garment. Over ten workers were trained in photography. The mission: to capture precious moments with their families and to construct stories around each image.

The final PhotoVoice exhibition was comprised of workers’ favourite photos and their stories. From these photos, we can see the nostalgia they feel towards their hometowns, their gratitude towards family members and their love for their children.

Each Hongyu worker was cordially invited to browse participants’ work and to vote for their favourite photo stories. The winners were announced and rewarded during a closing ceremony on 16 April 2018.

Here we would like to share with you their voices.
