The training highlights gaps in the recruitment process that can lead to child labour and zero-tolerance issues concerning juvenile workers.&nbsp;</span></p><p><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 18px;">It puts the spotlight on high-risk areas where underage workers are likely to be found, including less obvious positions within the factory. Participants learn to identify hazardous positions that underage and juvenile workers should be steered clear of and provides guidance on permitted working hours and other relevant legislation pertaining to child labour and the management of juvenile workers.</span></p><p><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 18px;">Meanwhile, The Centre’s workshops on child labour remediation capacity building address weaknesses and risks in the recruitment process and equips HR staff and managerial staff with the knowledge and tools to strengthen their factories’ recruitment mechanisms to eliminate child labour and juvenile worker violations.&nbsp;</span></p><p><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 18px;">We welcome companies to nominate their suppliers, vendors and importers to join the training.
