Child Rights in Tunisia

Tunisia is an important manufacturing and sourcing location for industries including textiles and garments, agriculture, automotive components and electrical equipment. While the country has made progress in strengthening child protection, child labour persists in some sectors, particularly in agriculture, manufacturing and the informal economy, where children may be exposed to hazardous work and barriers to education. Companies sourcing from Tunisia are increasingly expected to identify and address these risks as part of their human rights due diligence (HRDD) processes, helping ensure children are protected throughout their supply chains.
