The CRIB podcast explores how the tea industry can better protect and support children’s and workers’ rights across the supply chain.

In Season 1, we focused on Sri Lanka’s tea industry, hearing directly from women workers, producers, and child rights experts. Together, we unpacked the challenges facing tea communities – especially women and children – and explored how the industry can become more family-friendly and rights-respecting.

Season 2 takes a more global view of the tea industry, set against the backdrop of growing human rights due diligence legislation. Through expert conversations, we explore how the sector is responding to rising expectations on sustainability, child labour, gender equity and worker wellbeing.

Join us as we speak with the people working in the tea industry on the challenges and opportunities to strengthen human rights due diligence within the sector.
