The Hub for Child Labour Prevention and Remediation is gaining increased attention among global companies seeking to meet existing and evolving due diligence requirements, reduce risk of child labour connected to their global supply chains and contribute to positive change for children exposed to child labour connected to mining.

During the first quarter of 2025, The Hub will welcome another 14 children into our long-term remediation programme within the TFM concession, and through our 10-year engagement with dormakaba, a Swiss company introduced to The Hub through Save the Children Switzerland, another three children will soon join the programme in the area around Kapata. In February, we also saw a group of five European telecommunications providers joining an increasing number of companies that financially support the expansion and impact of The Hub. They will jointly support another 10 children to be integrated into the progamme in 2025.

The team at The Hub look forward to working with these global companies, local partners, other initiatives and the government to jointly create positive change for children in 2025.
