June 15 | "Re-Focusing Business Attention on Children’s Rights" Webinar

Companies that take responsibility for respecting and supporting children’s rights can mitigate serious legal and reputational risks to their activities, further competitiveness and attractiveness, improve recruitment, retention, and productivity of their staff, and contribute to more stable and sustainable business environments. By doing do, they secure a long-lasting social license to operate, through gaining support from their future employees and customers.

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Children’s Rights and Business Principles and reflect upon the next decade ahead, the UN Global Compact Network UK, in partnership with the UK Committee for UNICEF (UNICEF UK), and Save the Children UK, is hosting a new webinar on 15 June, 13:00-14:30 BST.

Attendees will hear from representatives of leading companies and experts in the field, including The Centre for Child Rights and Business, about how companies can ensure they respect and support children’s rights throughout their activities and business relationships. The session will address the greatest challenges companies face on the ground as a result of new unprecedented risks to children and will provide practical guidance to take concrete and meaningful action.
