Video: Vietnamese Girl Gets Access to Decent Work and Training Through Factory Youth Programme

The Centre has been working with IKEA Purchasing & Logistics Southeast Asia since 2018 to implement a youth development programme in its supplier factories in Vietnam and Indonesia. 165 young workers in 10 factories in Vietnam were given access to decent working conditions and training as a result of this programme.


My is a 17-year-old girl who joined the youth development programme in one of participating factories in Vietnam. In the video below, she discusses how the programme has impacted her life.
