Virtual Event: Global Forum on Investing in Early Childhood | April 8

The Center for Business Champions (CBC) at Childhood Education International invites you to the Global Forum on Investing in Early Childhood: Business Support for a Thriving Economy & Social Wellbeing. This dynamic virtual event will convene global leaders, business innovators, policymakers, funders, and early childhood development (ECD) advocates to explore the economic and social benefits of investing in young children—and the powerful role businesses can play in shaping a thriving future for all.

Our Director of Child Rights in Business Global Consultancy Services, Malin Liljert, will speak at the event during Part 2 (see below), offering key insights for ECD leaders on building strong, effective partnerships with the private sector.

The daylong online forum will spotlight groundbreaking research on ECD’s impact on workforce readiness, economic growth, and societal well-being while also showcasing practical models of business-ECD collaboration that deliver tangible, lasting change. Participants will hear from distinguished speakers across sectors, including business executives, development organisations, and grassroots leaders who have successfully built partnerships that benefit children, families, and communities.

Part 2: Building Partnerships with Businesses: Laying the Foundation

This is a session for ECD and business professionals on building successful partnerships with businesses. It will cover the cultural differences between the sectors, practical engagement strategies, and what businesses look for in collaborations. The session will also present the new CBC framework on corporate support for early childhood development, highlighting the multiple ways in which businesses can support young children.
