Webinar: Best Practice Sharing on Child Labour Prevention in Vietnam’s Pepper Supply Chain

How can businesses replicate effective approaches to child labour prevention across different pepper supply chains and sourcing regions?

Vietnam is one of the world’s leading producers and exporters of black pepper, connecting farming communities and local businesses with international markets. As expectations for responsible sourcing, human rights due diligence (HRDD) and supply chain transparency grow, businesses need practical ways to address child labour risks and strengthen the protection of children and young workers at farm level.

Over the past three years, an initiative in Vietnam’s pepper sector has brought together international buyers, exporters and local stakeholders to strengthen child protection, build local capacity and pilot practical solutions, including community-based childcare models.

Join The Centre for Child Rights and Business and representatives from Solina, ofi, DK Commodity and other key stakeholders to hear about the initiative’s results, lessons learned and opportunities to replicate effective approaches in other pepper supply chains.

Who is the webinar for?

This webinar is for international buyers, brands, retailers, commodity traders and suppliers interested in replicating effective child labour prevention approaches across pepper supply chains. It is particularly relevant for businesses looking to strengthen collaboration with pepper suppliers and farming communities, improve child protection at the farm level and adapt proven approaches to other pepper sourcing regions.
