Information Webinars to Kick-off Free Young Worker Protection & Skill Development Training for Enterprises in Vietnam in July

Continuing the success of last year's training programme, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), in collaboration with UNICEF Vietnam and The Centre for Child Rights and Business, are co-organising two online webinars to launch a face-to-face training programme related to young workers at the workplace that is part of an ongoing project to promote the Children's Rights and Business Principles among enterprises in Vietnam. The training programme, which is free to attend, focuses on three targeted industries: footwear and apparel, information, communication and technology (ITC), and travel & tourism industries. 

Prior to commencing the training programme, VCCI invites interested enterprises to join one of two kick-off webinars on June 28 and 30 to receive detailed information about the training programme. The aim of these webinars is to ensure invited enterprises understand the training format and the benefits to their businesses before signing up to the face-to-face training programme.

After the webinars, trainers from The Centre will deliver a 5-day face-to-face training programme in July 2022 in Hanoi for selected enterprises. Topics will include child labour prevention and remediation, young worker protection and skill development for young workers.

Interested enterprises are invited to join us for one these two kick-off webinars.
