The Centre and ELEVATE Announce Collaboration to Remediate Child Labour in Supply Chains

Hong Kong, 18 June 2019 – The Centre for Child Rights and Business (formerly CCR CSR), a social enterprise that improves the lives of children by working with companies to achieve child-friendly supply chain operations, and ELEVATE, the leading business risk and sustainability solutions provider, have announced a collaboration to increase effectiveness in remedial and improvement services related to child labour.

As part of this collaboration, The Centre will be ELEVATE’s preferred partner to support customers and partners with child labour remediation, child rights risk assessment, and support programmes for parent and young workers.

The Centre and ELEVATE will conduct a series of shared-learning training sessions including for ELEVATE’s industry-leading assessment team members in China and Bangladesh. The focus of these engagements will be on how to go beyond the safe identification of child labour and ensure the collection of additional information on site that increases the likelihood of effective and equitable long-term remediation.
