New Vietnamese Leaflets on Parenting and Childcare Facilities for Factories and Workers

The Centre has developed two informative leaflets on parenting and safety for parents and employees in Vietnam. Available in Vietnamese, we encourage buyers with suppliers based in Vietnam to download and share these free resources. The leaflets can be printed and displayed on factory message boards or factory childcare facilities or scanned and downloaded on mobile devices.

Who These Leaflets Are For

1. Workers with Kindergarten-Aged Children

This leaflet provides valuable information for workers with children of kindergarten age. It helps parents find quality, safe childcare facilities that suit their family’s economic conditions. Additionally, it educates parents on recognising signs of child abuse and how to respond immediately to protect their children.

2. Workers with Young Children at Private Childcare Facilities

This leaflet is for parents and employees with children at small, private childcare facilities. It raises awareness about safety and quality standards and is ideal for displaying in childcare facilities. The leaflet outlines eight key areas necessary for a good childcare facility:

  • Registration with competent authorities

  • Safe equipment and facilities

  • Effective child-rearing and teaching activities

  • Regular health checks and nutritional assessments

  • Sufficient and qualified teachers

  • Reasonable tuition fees

  • Flexible class hours that align with parents’ work schedules

  • Protective measures to ensure children's safety
