Short Film: “They Are Also Parents”

In tribute to all working parents separated from their children we present a short film to bring to life the numbers and facts from our ground-breaking research They are also parents launched in 2014. 

During the summer of 2013 The Centre (formerly CCR CSR), in cooperation with Facilitator and supported by the CSR centre at the Swedish Embassy, performed a research amongst 1500 workers and frontline managers from the Pearl River Delta and Chongqing. We found that over 46% of parents have previously left their job due to family related reasons and over 80% of migrant workers with left-behind children feel inadequate as parents.
