ONLINE SESSION
Responsible contracting and responsible exit: the case of child labour
February 10 | 11:30 – 13:00 CET
Zoom
This session, organised by the Child Labour Charter Team, Minerva BHR, and International CFO Alliance, will include our CEO, Ines Kaempfer. It will focus on fostering dialogue on the critical issue of child labour by examining a first case study about Türkiye’s agricultural supply chain and a second case study about alternative approaches to zero tolerance.
The session then explores the benefits of Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence strategies. It concludes with a collaborative discussion to develop a Child Labour Charter that is acceptable and useful for everyone in light of new regulatory requirements (CS3D, etc.).

PARALLEL SESSIONS (IN-PERSON)
For those attending the forum in Paris, here's a quick overview of our in-person participation, where we’ll be sharing valuable insights from our work in global supply chains, particularly in lower tiers and the informal sector.
Establishing due diligence processes with circular economy actors – a spotlight on recyclers
February 12 | 13:30 – 15:00 CET
Room CC4
Join our CEO, Ines Kaempfer, as she speaks on this panel. This roundtable will focus on recyclers' important role in increasing transparency and supporting due diligence on recycled material feedstock. It will build on last year’s forum session on circular systems, which looked at ways to engage actors across the circular value chain through examples from post-production and post-consumer stages, and draw on learnings in the sector and the OECD’s draft frequently asked questions paper on due diligence for circular processes in the sector.

Invite Only: 12 months of the Bangladesh Child Rights Action Hub – Delivering collaborative actions to strengthen due diligence at scale in lower tiers of garment supply chains
February 12 | 07:30 – 09:00 CET
Our CEO, Ines Kaempfer, and Senior Vice President, Mark Robertson, will host a breakfast meeting to reflect on the impact and achievements of The Centre's Child Rights Action Hub. This initiative has strengthened due diligence and promoted positive social outcomes in lower-tier textile factories in Bangladesh. Following the reflection, there will be a broader discussion on collaborative approaches to address child labour and associated human rights risks in lower tiers of the supply chain in other garment-sourcing countries.
Please email us at info@childrights-business.org to join the meeting.
Whether you join us in person or online, The Centre is eager to foster important discussions about preventing child labour and implementing long-term solutions that positively affect both children's lives and business due diligence approaches. We look forward to seeing you at the 2025 OECD Forum!
